Keynote “Understanding students through their perspective"
Feedback form is now closed.

The phrase “culture of poverty” implies that poverty is passed from one generation to the next through learned behavior. Psychological, social influences, and esteem needs are deficiency needs, which arise through deprivation. This interactive session provides participants with a better understanding of how childhood adversities affect students' persistence and resilience levels, as well as specific strategies to engage all learners. Participants will learn how building effective self-esteem with students is fundamental to classroom success. This session will give strategic measures to build the magnitude, self-efficacy, and sense of urgency necessary for educators to meet the needs of all children. Educators will learn how to gather information about their own perspective towards differentiation.
